Mike Crowley
Dr. Mike Crowley graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 after attending Thomas More College. He, his wife Stephanie, and their three children live in Butler. Four cats, two dogs, and three horses round out the family. Dr. Mike especially enjoys internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of ear disease. He is very active in organized veterinary medicine. In 2011, he was honored to be the President of the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association. Currently, Dr. Mike is co-owner of the business, along with Dr. Steve Enzweiler.

Steve Enzweiler
Dr. Steve Enzweiler has been practicing medicine at Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital since 1997. Dr. Enzweiler, who graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, also attended Northern Kentucky University for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Enzweiler—born and raised in Fort Thomas and a proud Newport Central Catholic high school alum—lives with his children and their three dogs, two cats, one horse and a goat on a small farm in Grants Lick. He naturally is a huge animal lover, an avid outdoorsman and a die-hard Auburn Tigers fan. WAR EAGLE!

Kate Middendorf
Dr. Middendorf joined our veterinary staff in 2003, she works mostly in patient receiving. She is a 1998 graduate of Auburn University. Originally from Ft. Mitchell, KY, Dr. Kate did her pre-vet studies at the University of Kentucky, where she also completed a degree in zoology. Dr. Kate has a menagerie of dogs and cats and takes great pride in caring for them. She is involved in conformation and obedience exhibition with her dogs. Her hobbies include shopping, reading, spending time with family and friends, and anything Disney.

Melvin Leap
A native of Campbell County, Dr. Leap graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Leap enjoys country living on a small farm with his pets, Julius, Meow Pacino, Rooster Cogburn and Henry.

Marisa Hernandez
Originally from Versailles, KY, Dr. Marisa Hernandez, graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Prior to Auburn, Dr. Hernandez obtained her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of Kentucky. She enjoys soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and theriogenology. Dr. Hernandez has two Goldendoodles, Remy and Piper, and a cat named Nico.

Mary Pulliam
Dr. Pulliam is originally from Harrison County. She graduated from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. She has an interest in surgery, advanced canine reproduction, and wellness care. Dr. Pulliam enjoys cooking, hand crafts, working on her family’s farm and spending time with her dog Angus.

Rachel Miller
Dr. Rachel Miller was born and raised in the mountains of Pikeville, KY. She attended the University of Pikeville where she obtained a BS in Biology. After undergrad, Dr. Miller went straight into veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University in East Tennessee. She relocated to Alexandria, KY with her best girl, a blue heeler, named Jazz. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, football (Go Bengals!), and exploring new places. She is excited to begin her career at Grant’s Lick Veterinary Hospital to serve our clients and patients.

Brandon
Brandon graduated from Georgetown College with his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology before pursuing post-bachelor education from the University of Kentucky and Purdue University. He is very active in the veterinary community, speaking at national/regional conferences and helping veterinary professionals across the United States. His experience within veterinary medicine spans nearly every role within a practice, and has managed practices as large as 180 employees. He currently resides north of Cincinnati with his wife, two dogs, three cats and ball python.

Brittany
Officially, Brittany joined our team in 2006, working as a receptionist and as an assistant. Unofficially, Brittany had been here for years before that as a volunteer!! In 2011 she graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in Veterinary Technology and obtained her Veterinary Technician License. In March 2015 she advanced to the practice management position. In April 2019 she obtained her certification as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. In her little bit of free time she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Donna
Another true animal lover on our staff, Donna has dogs, cats, horses, and rabbits. She has been known to transport a pony in the back seat of her car and to dress her pets in fashionable clothing. Since 1996, Donna has been a receptionist, veterinary assistant and veterinary technician. She and her family live in Pendleton County, Ky. Raising her daughter and riding horses keep her busy.

Cierra
Cierra joined the GLVH team in 2020. She graduated from the University of Maryland with her Bachelor of Science in Human Recourse Management. Although being raised in Pendleton County, during college, she traveled all along the east coast for eight years with her husband during his time serving in the Navy. Her family moved back to her hometown in early of 2020. She is excited to bring her degree, past job experience and love for animals, all together! In her off time, she loves crafting and spending time with her husband (Mark), daughter (Remington), and son (Brooks), boating, camping, traveling, hiking, and with their two fur babies Addie and Arlo

Jacqueline attended Morehead State University where she earned her degree in veterinary technology. She started her career here as a volunteer and through the years has worked as a Receptionist, Assistant, and now a Technician. She joined the team in 2006 and is a dedicated and compassionate employee, a true animal lover! She enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and taking care of her many animals!

Taylor joined the GLVH team in April of 2021 and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is currently in school working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. She loves all animals, especially her cat, Hanami.

Tim
Tim Schneider joined the team in May of 2017 as a veterinary assistant after spending a 30-year career in education, 28 of those years serving the Campbell County School district. Tim has four grown children, several grandchildren and a menagerie of animals including dogs, cats, and tropical fish. He enjoys being with family, spending time outdoors and showing his Rhodesian Ridgebacks in AKC conformation events.

Melissa
Melissa is a veterinary assistant and also helps out at the front desk as a receptionist. In addition to this, she stays busy with four sons, one granddaughter, two dogs, two cats and many chickens. In her “free” time, Melissa is a writer having a traditionally published novel, an accomplished hyper-realism artist and an accredited graphic artist. Dylan
Dylan is a freshman pre-veterinary student at Midway University where he plans on double majoring in Equine Science and Biology. Dylan is most interested in mixed animal practice and internal medicine. Dylan loves spending time riding horses, enjoying his dogs Domino and Reggie, and hanging out with friends. Dylan is very passionate about animal care and is thrilled to be a member of our team.

I joined the team in 2021. I attended Ross Medical Education Center where I earned my certificate in veterinary Assisting. I grew up in the Northern Kentucky area. I enjoy advocating for my animals, spending time with my family, going on hikes with my daughter Amelia and cuddling with my cat Penny.

Abby
Abby is originally from Zanesville, Ohio and is a recent graduate of Thomas More University with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She was also a member of the Women’s Soccer team. Abby has always had a love for animals and is so grateful to have a job caring for them every single day. She loves her fur babies, Ruby the Red Heeler, Ricky the three-legged cat and her newest kitty, Teddy. Her goal is to attend Vet school and is excited to see what the future holds.

I graduated from Grant Career Center in 2019 with my veterinary assistant certificate. My love for animals started when I was very little. In my free time, I enjoy helping my boyfriend work on the farm and take care of the cows, chickens, and dogs. I also help him work on his project trucks. I enjoy veterinary medicine and might one day further my education and become a veterinary technician.

Trisha is originally from southeastern Michigan where she worked at a small animal practice before joining the GLVH team. From a young age, she knew she always wanted to work with animals. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting outdoors every chance she gets. From hiking and camping, to hunting and fishing with her husband and pup, anything to get them outdoors. She hopes to one day further her education and become a Veterinary Technician.

Sam joined the GLVH with a decade of experience in the veterinary industry. She loves helping animals while building bonds with people who have those same morals. She enjoys coming home at the end of the day, knowing she made a difference in the world, even if it is small. Sam has two collie mixes of her own, Banner and Fury. In her time off, she likes cooking, hiking, camping, adventuring, and spending time with her family and friends. She loves live music, watching movies, and making others laugh.

Christina started with us in September 2008. She’s loved animals her whole life. Started with her first cat at 3 years old. She has a daughter, Peyton, that is following in her footsteps sharing her love for animals as well. If her husband would let them, they would have a houseful of animals. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family when she’s not working.

Alyssa is a college student who studies psychology and has always loved animals. She currently has four Himalayan cats and joined our team in November of 2020 in remembrance of her beloved cat of seventeen years. Alyssa lives on a lake where she likes to spend time with her family.

My name is Tammy. I am Alexandria, Ky. Born and raised. As a child, I lived on a farm. We had dogs, lots of barn cats, horses and over 90 ponies. I graduated from Campbell County High School, then earned my Bachelor of Science degree from NKU in Anthropology in 1988. I currently live in Grant’s Lick with my husband, Sam and four dogs – Bear, Chance, Rocky and Tinkerbell. We have lived in Grant’s Lick for over 30 years where we raised our three sons – TJ, Johnny and James. I enjoy spending time with family and friends as often as I can, reading, karaoke, dancing and binge-watching shows on Netflix with my husband and our four-legged kids.

Sierra
Sierra joined the team in June 2020 for her very first job. Currently pursuing her education at Northern Kentucky University, Sierra is expected to graduate in May 2026. When she’s not working or studying, Sierra enjoys being outdoors, particularly when she’s fishing or riding her horses. Growing up in Grant’s Lick, KY, Sierra has been immersed in a variety of pets, including bunnies, cats, dogs, goats, horses, and a skunk. Sierra’s early years saw her regularly riding the school bus to Grant’s Lick Veterinary Hospital, where her mother was employed.
